2.18.04-A Film Project!!!

Yes, for those people who know of the original intent of this website, I am finally posting some information about a film I am making.

This initial posting is just an awareness builder. I am looking at a project for my 16mm Film class in school and I have a very simple request. I have an actor for my film already, but I am in need of a crew. People will be needed, probably about 3-5 total, to carry equipment, help with set up and tear down and just do general helping stuff when needed. If you are interested, please drop me an email. 2.16.04-More Cool Computer Game Links

I found this amazing website the other day. For some reason in the past week or so I have been remembering some old computer games that I used to play when I was younger. I was looking around for a version of one in particular, Advanced Civilization.

Well, not only did I find a site where I could download a full version of the game (not the new linked site though) but I found a place called Classic Trash. This site is great and it brought back so many gaming memories and made me realize just how ignorant of old games I really am.

In addition to some of the games I have always wanted to play, the original Civilization, the original Grand Theft Auto, looking through the list of games on the site led me to many that I had merely heard of but had never really even seen, let alone played. The most amazing discovery for me personally was that of two old Lord of the Rings games from back in the 80s or early 90s. For those people who know my infatuation with the series, this was a gold mine and of course I immediately downloaded them. I strongly urge anyone interested in computer gaming to go and have a look at this site. If you're from the younger generation of gamers that has grown up with full 3D graphics and doesn't know text based RPGs, the games at Classic Trash would be a great education. For older gamers who remember the days of early games and wish that they could get some of those back, this is the place to find them. Check it out and I promise you that you will NOT be disappointed.
